Journeys Beyond Wanderlust XPD 2470: ROAD ADVENTURE OF 3 WOMEN FROM COIMBATORE TO LONDON

What happens when Three Dynamic women meet for their passion to drive challenging roads for the first time in their life? Their backgrounds and personality far apart from each other! Let’s hear this firsthand from - Meenakshi Arvind from Coimbatore, Priya Rajpal from Mumbai and Mookambika Ratham, hailing from a small village called Poolachi from Tamilnadu.

Yes, an expedition covering 24000 kms, covering 24 countries, in 70 days to commemorate India’s 70 years of independence (hence the Expedition Title XPD 2470); and to also promote a cause - ‘Rotary India Literacy Mission’ with the aim to achieve total literacy equality for women’s education. This legendary road trip turned out to be a life-changing experience - The journey started on March 26, ended on June 2017.

It is the stuff dreams are made of – zooming off on a road trip in a high-end vehicle from Coimbatore to London. The expedition covered Myanmar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Austria, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, and Netherlands before reaching London. But despite the aura around such a feat there were moments of despair when they wanted to give it all up.

Ms. Meenakshi Arvind and Ms. Priya Rajpal will share their Epic Road Trip, along with a Video recording, their challenging journey of exploring the world by overland.

Ladies it’s a rare treat to get first- hand experience and to be part of their journey as they ‘motor’ along 24,000 Kms covering 24 countries!!
