DESK OF THE PRESIDENTS

_______________________________________________________

Time flies but memories last forever….

Our year as Presidents seems to have flown by and before we realized it, we had formed new friendships and strengthened old ones by working on the various teams with those who supported us throughout.

We thank all the teams and committees— Board, Chairladies, Advisory, Nominating, Archives, Disbursements, Travel, Welfare, Membership and the Communications’ Team who reminded us that dedicated teamwork in the spirit of Indus is what keeps our club active and dynamic.

We navigated the year with our affirming actions of Patience and Perseverance, as we resumed in person meetings in the post pandemic transition period.

The Executive team stayed focused on the goal to make a smooth transition from zoom to in-person meetings. Throughout the year, Activity chairladies extended themselves to planning outstanding meetings in a workable combination of online and offline meetings, in keeping the interest of Indus senior members.

We appreciate the cooperation of all members as we made the shift patiently, for showing up in large numbers at the events planned during the year.

From Fellowships, festive Get-togethers, to outdoor walks and excursions not forgetting the responses to the two trips within India to revive the travellers’ memories!

A big thank you to the members and friends who contributed towards the Charities enabling us to donate to 22 charitable institutions.

Let’s meet one more time at The Annual general Body meeting before we happily handover the baton to the next board & executive committee for 2023-2024 for yet another exciting year for Indus members.

Sheena Kataria and   Kaya Shewakramani
